Terms
The terms for using GrantAmp.
Plain sentences. What GrantAmp is and is not, what is yours, and how the paid plans work.

The agreement
These terms are a contract between you and Artificial Intelligentsia LLC (DBA Agentsia). You accept these terms by checking the box at account creation or checkout, or by pressing Accept when an updated version is shown. If you do not accept them, do not use GrantAmp.
What GrantAmp is, and is not
GrantAmp is a formatting and requirements aid for NIH grant applications. It checks documents against NIH's published rules and cites the page each rule came from.
GrantAmp is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the National Institutes of Health. It is a formatting aid, not professional advice. You are responsible for your application's compliance with the Application Guide, your NOFO, and any applicable Guide Notices.
NOFO instructions supersede the Application Guide, and NIH Guide Notices supersede both.
GrantAmp never states that a document is compliant. A report says that no issues were found by this checker, and that is all it says. You are responsible for your application.
The science is yours
GrantAmp never drafts the Specific Aims, the Research Strategy, or any other part of the science. Where NIH policy on AI assisted applications applies (NOT-OD-25-132, effective for the September 25, 2025 receipt date and beyond), GrantAmp gives you a record of what it did and did not do. Whether an application meets that policy is your judgment and your institution's.
Your account
One person per account. Keep the email address on it current and keep the sign in method safe. What happens under your account is your responsibility until you tell us it has been misused.
Shared organizations are for labs, departments, and research offices. Owners and administrators may create applications for PIs in the organization and invite members or viewers. An owner may delete the shared organization from its settings page, which clears its applications and roster in one step, or remove applications first if they only want to delete their own GrantAmp data. Members may leave a shared organization at any time; the organization's applications stay in place until the owner deletes the organization or its applications.
Acceptable use
Upload only documents you have the right to upload. Do not try to break, overload, or scrape GrantAmp, and do not drive the free tools with automation beyond the limits shown on their pages.
Your content
You keep every right to what you upload or type. GrantAmp claims none. An upload is processed only to produce the report you asked for, and GrantAmp holds none of it afterward. The privacy page says exactly what is kept.
Paid plans
The price is stated on the pricing page before you pay, and it is the price Stripe charges.
Individual plans are subscriptions that renew until you cancel them: every month, every four months, or every year. You can cancel at any time from Manage billing, and access continues until the end of the period you paid for. There is no proration and no partial refund for the unused part of a period. A plan change is made in Manage billing and Stripe prorates it on the next invoice. A price change applies from the next renewal after notice by email.
A Submission Pass is a one-time payment for one application. It does not renew. Access runs until the validity date shown at purchase. There is no partial refund after payment.
Team and organization plans
When a plan is billed to a legal entity rather than one person, that entity is the customer named on the order or invoice. Only the organization owner starts checkout, changes the licensed seat count, or opens Manage billing for the organization. Administrators and members use seats under the roles the owner assigns. Each person who uses a seat still accepts these terms individually at sign in.
Team plans bill annually. You may pay by card at checkout or request an invoice with net-30 terms; invoices may be paid by card or US bank transfer on Stripe's page. Extra seats are purchased as a quantity on the subscription in organization settings; Stripe prorates seat adds onto the next invoice. Seat quantity changes are not made in the Stripe Customer Portal; the portal is for payment methods, invoices, and cancellation.
Invoices and tax receipts are issued through Stripe to the billing contact the organization provides. GrantAmp may suspend organization access for non payment after notice to that contact.
Where procurement requires it, Artificial Intelligentsia LLC offers a data processing addendum. The template is available on request at hello@grantamp.com and lists the subprocessors on the /subprocessors page.
Availability and changes
The free tools may change or pause. GrantAmp does not promise uninterrupted availability. A change that matters is announced on the site.
No warranty
GrantAmp is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, GrantAmp disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
It does not promise that a report is complete, or that an application will be funded, accepted, or found compliant by NIH or by your institution.
Ask and the reviewer lens use a language model. Their answers and questions can be wrong or incomplete even when they cite an NIH page. Treat them as prompts to read the cited source, not as advice.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Artificial Intelligentsia LLC (DBA Agentsia) is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including a grant not funded or an application rejected. Its total liability to you is limited to what you paid GrantAmp in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred dollars if you paid nothing.
Indemnity
You will defend and hold harmless Artificial Intelligentsia LLC (DBA Agentsia) from claims, losses, and reasonable costs (including attorneys' fees) that arise from your misuse of GrantAmp, your breach of these terms, or content you upload or type that you did not have the right to use.
Entire agreement
These terms and the privacy page are the whole agreement between you and GrantAmp about the service. They replace any earlier understanding on the same subject.
Severability
If one sentence of these terms is held invalid, the rest stays in force.
Assignment
GrantAmp may assign these terms to a successor that buys or continues the business. You may not assign your account without GrantAmp's written consent.
Force majeure
GrantAmp is not liable for delay or failure caused by events outside its reasonable control, including outages at Cloudflare, Clerk, Stripe, or NIH systems, natural disasters, labor disputes, or government action.
Notices
GrantAmp sends notices about these terms or the privacy page to the email address on your account. You send notices to hello@grantamp.com. A notice is treated as received on the day it is sent by email.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using GrantAmp at any time and delete your data from your application page once no plan is active. GrantAmp may suspend an account that breaks these terms, with notice where that is possible.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Write to hello@grantamp.com about a dispute first; one that cannot be settled that way is brought in the state or federal courts located in Illinois.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change, the date at the top changes. A change that matters to account holders is sent to the email address on the account before it applies.
